Mirrors are a bloggers best friend can be interpreted wrong if you don’t read this: When there is no one around to take your outfit photo for you, there is no other option than a mirror selfie.. unless you are one of those who have the guts to put up an tripod and use some self timer.. So this is what I wore the other day when I stood on an electric scooter around the city, in between meetings and a lovely lunch. Ended the day with my sister and some McDonalds haha..

I´ve been really diggin’ the whole track pants trend lately, and these are the latest addition to my closet. It’s no secret that I simply adore tie dye, so these were right up my alley. I decided to add a fun top to tie the whole look together, and tone it down with a black blazer and some simple sneakers. At last, just to confuse anyone eyeing my outfit, I added a straw bag for fun! Am I going to the beach, a business meeting or raving? Who knows?

Went for a picnic with two of my friends the other day, and decided to keep it quite casual and comfy. To spice up the skirt and college sweater combo, I added some crazy sunglasses, a silky scarf with bubblegum print, some huge shoes and matching huuuuge bag haha.. If you don’t know what to wear one day, just throw on a skirt and a sweatshirt, and let the accessories to the talking!

The solution to every fashion emergency is.. you guessed it: jumpsuits. Whenever I don’t know what to wear, I just put on a jumpsuit and add some accessories, and the look is done. So I guess you can say it is a guide on how a lazy girl dresses fashionably as well haha.. This one from By Timo is perfect for any fancy occasion, but can also be dressed down, like I did, for an everyday look. I added a denim vest to get that ABBA/hippie vibe, but dressed it down with sneakers to make the outfit more modern. For that last Maren touch, I of course added a bunch of jewelry..

Hello Tuesday! The temperature in Oslo today is insane, the sun is shining, so what other perfect day to wear this lovely sunflower two-piece set. To make it less cute, I styled it with some tennis shoes and socks, some futuristic shades and a pique shirt. Defiantly the comfiest I´ve been in a while.

My love vintage shopping is never-ending, and in this outfit I am wearing two of my favorite scoops that I have used over and over again. I found the leather jacket in a vintage shop called Episode in Amsterdam. I was a bit on the fence whether or not to get it, but I am so glad I did. It is the perfect item to rock up a cute dress, and I am planning to wear it this summer with a silky dress and some cowboy boots to a festival (if I end up going to any festivals that is..) Anyways, a pro tip is to always save some time for vintage shopping when traveling, you never know when you will find your next treasure. Always make sure to research vintage shops before exploring a new city.
The bag on the other hand was found in a vintage/secondhand shop here in Oslo called UFF. It only cost me 50 NOK, I would almost call it the student version of a vintage Fendi baguette bag.. haha. It fits all my everyday necessities! If you live in Oslo or just visiting, go into UFF. It might seem like a lot at first, but take your time and browse through the racks.
Party pants to brighten up my mood! Still going strong with my exam, but managed to take a little break and attend some morning events yesterday. I decided to put these amazing green sequin pants to good use, because who says sequins are only allowed at night? To spice things up I added my blue leopard bag, with a blue leopard top.. rawr..

Princess Diana has always been a fashion icon of mine. She had so many good “fashion moments”, and a favorite of mine is the iconic look consisting of a college sweatshirt, combined with some cycling shorts. My thoughts behind this look, is that I wanted to do a sporty outfit with a twist. Diana with a twist. To make the cycling shorts more wearable, I added a longer coat so they would only be showing on the front of the outfit. Some pearls and a chic hairband made the look a bit less sporty, but to not loose the athleisure vibe, I went with some sneakers with high white tennis socks.
Some tips if you want to try out the cycling shorts, but don’t know how to do it:
- Add a longer coat or top – I always do this when wearing cycling shorts, it makes the look more covered up which I personally feel more comfortable with.
- Go for color or pattern – If you feel like a black cycling shorts will look too much like gym wear, try one in a color or a patterned one. That way it will feel more like a “regular shorts”.
- Add non-sporty garments – If you are not a total fan of the sporty look, try wearing it with some heels and a longer blazer, and add some fun accessories like a chic bright colored bag.
